In 2016, 56% of retail sales were influenced by a digital transaction, a huge increase from the 14% in 2013. The modern consumer often researches local stores on their phone.

90% of customers in your store use digital devices while shopping. This doesn’t mean that they’re going to buy the item online and they might just be checking reviews of the product online. If the product they’re searching for online is reasonably priced in your store, they will generally complete the purchase in-store.
