- Develop Instant Rapport: Don’t ask tons of questions about the potential clients personal life and other non sales-oriented jibberish. Establish yourself as an expert in the subject and get the meeting moving toward a sale.
- Gather Intelligence: Stop blabbering, ask specific question that will move the sale forward — and listen. Find out what they need and pitch them products they need.
- Control the Sale: Keep it on the straight line, don’t deviate from the path. Move from start to finish as quickly as possible by avoiding chit chat, over-qualifying the client, trying to sell them after they’ve said yes, etc.
