Mercedes Benz Makes Unheralded Marketing Move to Gain New Customer Base

This is a great manufacturing and marketing move on the German car maker’s part. Who wouldn’t love to have a gorgeous and aggressively-styled Mercedes sitting in their driveway — if they could only afford one. Heck, I know people right now working in sales jobs like financial services and real estate, who’ve paid upwards of 20 grand for 10 year old high-mileage C and S classes, just so they can look successful when pulling up to their appointments.

This is great news for all you up-and-comers, or tight-walleted entrepreneurs looking to class up your image. Am I right? The entry CLA starts at $31,000 and change. The upgrade to the 4-matic is only a couple grand extra. The AMG edition with an extra 100hp will sting a little more at $50 grand after taxes.
