This is a quick video, primarily for new business owners, that will help you develop a free marketing plan to get the word out about your business.
The one thing I would caution is that free publicity isn’t necessarily easier than most of you would think. This is particularly true when it comes to starting a fresh business without having any firmly-established contacts in the press (online or off).
As with anything that’s worth getting, you should definitely expect to hear a lot of “No’s” and perhaps brush up on your ability to deal with and counter those “No’s”.
Free publicity is much different than paid press; where you can buy your way into almost any publication, podcost, vlog, television or radio show. Expect to spend some time getting your press release or shoutout accepted.
