For those of you who don’t feel like you have the time to spend setting up yet another social media account, Quora is way different than Twitter or Facebook:
The question/answer aspect of Quora is a great way to socialize and meet friends.
However, I think it has a lot of potential from a marketing standpoint too. Anyone who’s looking to build a brand needs to consider Quora. You can build trusting relationships with plenty of potential customers just by answering posted questions that relate to your area of expertise.
Some may call this network the lowest of the “low-hanging fruit”, but I think it just may be one of the best social branding tools out there. It’s so much harder to stand out on Facebook or Twitter; especially if you’re just starting out.
