Can Anyone Build a Brand Using YouTube as the Foundation of Their Marketing Plan?

If you’ve never watched a video on YouTube, then it’s possible you haven’t heard of Mike Chang.

He details much of his rise to success in the following short video, talking about his early start in marketing as — surprise, surprise — a door to door salesman!

It’s really cool to see an average guy who’s made a name for himself in a razor-tough industry, with new competition entering the space daily.

Chang currently (as of June 9, 2014) has 2,646,351 subscribers, and cumulative views of 343,149,510.

The views only account for those who’ve watched videos he’s posted on his Six Pack Shortcuts channel, not the countless interviews and guest spots he’s done on other channels.

Tell me what you think.

Does this guy just make it look too easy, or can anyone with a little passion start banking hard using YouTube as the foundation of their marketing?
