Before he acquired I Can Has Cheezburger with a group of angel investors and grows it into a large network of 50 sites, he has his fair share of failures.
When his 18-month old web analytics startup folded, he hit rock bottom and even contemplated suicide. Luckily he took a different path, crawled back from the gutter one step at a time before he ‘made it’ with his Cheezburger.
Lessons learned from Beh Huh: Life or death is not the same thing as a job. Huh realized that failure didn’t really matter; it’s not a matter of life or death. Failure is only usual for professional people to make bad decisions and lose money in the process. Sweating over the failure doesn’t get your money – and life – back; get over it, and try again.
