What Three Little Pigs can Teach You About Open Journalism (and Branding)

Now that videos are now being used as a primary way of promotion, there is a question on how social media can affect public opinion.

In this unique video – using “three little pigs and the big bad wolf” as an analogy – The Guardian is able to show people how much impact social media has on people’s lives while doing it in an entertaining way. The comments speak for themselves as it shows how valuable the video is.

Now I have some idea about open journalism – thanks to The Guardian’s three (not so) little pigs and the big bad wolf story coverage.

Branding-wise, The Guardian scores with this advert. The message is loud and clear. Using the pigs and wolf make it easier for viewer to follow the story and understand what The Guardian can offer them.

Award-winning? No wonder. This is a fantastic video advert. If you agree with me, please share!
