NVIDIA’s GeForce GTX 970 and 980: Are They the Best Graphics Cards to Buy?

Hummina, hummina, hummina, hummina — super resolution technology, DSR, advanced frame-buffer technology…

OMG!

I think they probably are the best. Certainly the best bang for buck when considering what a top drawer Radeon will set you back, but $599 for the GTX 980 is a still bit out of my budget (currently).

The 970 is over $200 cheaper, but comes with a much lower clock speed and over-volting ability.

If you’re thinking about buying the newly-released 970 or 980 GPU’s, check out this video:

What did you guys think?

DSR looks much sharper, no? Wonder how people who paid over $1000 for the Radeon R9 295X2 feel about DSR and the possibilities it offers.

If you were one of the people standing in line on September 18 to buy one, leave a comment and let us know how it turned out (let me know what kind of monitor you’re using).
