Kids can Now Print in 3D – With Their iPad

Yes, you read that right. 3D printer has started to become a mainstream product, and this startup is crowdfunding their way to achieve their goal: Building and distributing 3D printers for children and K-12 education.

Enter Printeer.

Unlike most 3D printers you see in the market today, Printeer doesn’t need you to have advanced design software, such as CAD. Instead, you can start to 3D print in 30 seconds using an iPad, instead of a PC.

Of course, due to its ease of use, Printeer is also suitable for not only children, but also for events, gathering and so on.

So far, the Kickstarter project has exceed $100,000 in funding, surpassing the $50,000 funding goal. In other words, this 3D printer will hit the market. Cool.
